The current update is that Approximately 2700 MW bids submitted in total. Bids dominated by major IPPS and OEM's. Gamesa, INOX, REGEN bids submitted for 250 MW each from OEM's. IPP's include RENEW, SEMBCORP, OSTRO, Mytrah, Adani, Leap Green and Hero with 250 MW each. Other notable players include Atria power, Kshema, SITAC. Surprisingly Suzlon did not bid any MW and is likely to tie-up with some of the IPP's and other players who have bid. The finalists for the reverse bidding are expected to come out after 2-3 weeks. Also, retailers seem to have shown no interest owing to 50 MW as the min bid size.
